Teens On Teen Driving

       I lost my best friend, Jenny. Jenny, and my other best friend, Kim and I were like the three amigos except it was the three amigas. We did everything together. Jenny and Kim were cousins. Jenny just turned 19 and she wanted to take us clubing. We said no but told her to go have fun with people her age, since Kim and I were four years younger then her. Jenny gave Kim and i nicknames. Mine is Sad Girl and Kim's is Whispers and Jenny's was Baby Mama. Jenny got the nicknames from the movie Mi Vida Loca. Since we were mexican she chose a mexicxan movie to get our nicknames.  

After her accident, when I went to go visit her and her last words to me were,

"Mira, when I get out of this hell hole, you, me and Kim are going to make it big with our music. Nada en este mundo is gonna bring us down. Our dreams are going to come true. When we make it big, I want to be just like my girl Selena. I wanna make a differnce in people's lives. Mira mija if i die today its because God thinks its my time and if I don't then its becuase God wants our dreams to come true." 
     After she said the i left her room and cried my eyes out. I felt like I could've stopped her from going to that club. An hour later, the doctor came out and told us that he did everything he could but she didn't make it. I cried even harder, I felt as if my heart was torn and as if I lost someone very important in my family and I did. I lost the big sister I never had.

     She wanted to be remembered as a young musican struggling to survive in this world and own her own since her mom left her when she was 11. I can still hear her tell me that she wanted be just like Selena. And now I'm hoping I can make that dream come true for her. If I can, I going to make it big for her.  

How it happenend:

Jenny was driving home after clubbing at Mexico Lindo (a club in Maryland)  It was around 1 a.m. and a drunk driver rambed her car. Jenny lost control of her car and she crashed into a tree. She was rushed to the hospital and was there for a day. She died shortly after in the hospital.
