Teens On Teen Driving

      Well my name is Maria Christina. I'm a senior '08 in high school and majoring in psychology .I am have a very positive, mature, fun, and determined personality. I like to help other people alot and like to put a smile on people's faces when they are down.

     I have been Vu's girlfriend since Oct. 22 2006 and since his accident has happend I feel as if i have been left with a mission, and looking back he would always tell me he wanted to be remembered by everyone and i feel like he is giving me the strengh to make sure that this doesnt happen to other teens, and by telling other people what has happened and his story he will get what he always wanted...to be remembered. He will be remembered by helping other lives while he is gone in heaven.

       All of us are at the point of our lives where we are getting our first cars and going on the weekends to parties and things, even going to car races because we have more freedom now...

     but do we ever think about car accidents? are we wearing our seatbelts? am I way over the speed limit? Could passing that stop light make me get into an accident? getting into 1 race could take your life? and even..."i'm just going to the starbucks on the corner and only 1 time i dont wear the seatbelt wont do anything" but you know your wrong? ... the answer is NO. Maybe we should start to think about it. Not just today but make it an everyday thing.

      I'm not saying dont drive anymore til your !50! but just drive with more responsibility, and think about your life...just putting on your seatbelt that just takes 4 seconds (I counted!) could save your life from a accident.
